How to make product photos that sell

The difference between an "ok" photo and one that stops the scroll isn't the gear — it's the message. Here's what matters.

You sell benefits, not products

The first photo shouldn't just show the product — it should say why it's worth buying. Before any shot, answer: what problem does it solve and for whom?

A mouse isn't sold with "black mouse" but with "precision and comfort for hours". The photo must convey exactly that.

Clean background + real-use context

For marketplaces and ads you need both: a clean image (white background, clear product) and a lifestyle one (the product in real use). The first wins the click, the second builds desire.

Infographics that explain fast

A good infographic states the benefits in 2 seconds: size, materials, what's in the box. Don't clutter — one clear message per image.

Brand consistency

Same colors, same editing style across all products. Consistency makes you look bigger and more trustworthy than you are.
